How were the Western Zhou like the Assyrians? How were they not the same? The Western Zhou dynasty ruled China at about the same time that the Assyrians ruled West Asia, so they're ruling opposite ends of Asia at about the same time. Probably they knew nothing, or almost nothing, about each other. But they were the same in some interesting ways. Can you write a few paragraphs comparing these two kingdoms?
Some things you might look at are how the Zhou Dynasty and the Assyrians came to power, who ran their government, how they collected taxes, what kind of army they had and what kinds of weapons they used, and whether they used writing.
